Story

GRINN’s story is one of a dream realized through perseverance and vision. It’s a tale of entrepreneurial resilience and the relentless pursuit of excellence. The journey was not always easy, but it was marked by unwavering courage and commitment.

Clarissa Rodrigues, the founder, has a strong background in scientific research, beginning with a Cardiology residency and advanced degrees, including work at Duke University and Stanford University. Upon returning to Brazil, she applied her expertise at a leading cardiology institution, introducing international practices and founding a department for real-world data studies.

Clarissa’s entrepreneurial spirit came to life at the MEDICA Fair in Germany, where GRINN began to take shape, driven by industry needs and evolving regulations. In May 2022, GRINN formed strategic partnerships with industry leaders, enhancing its market position and expanding services to meet specialized client needs.

In 2024, GRINN took a bold step by opening an office in San Francisco, California, marking a significant milestone in its journey and reinforcing its commitment to global growth and collaboration.

Today, GRINN is recognized for its innovative clinical research solutions, serving a global network with a strategic, technology-driven approach.

Co-founder, Chief Executive Officer

With over 15 years of experience in clinical research operations, combining a deep industry expertise with a dynamic entrepreneurial spirit. Holding a Master's and PhD in Health Sciences, along with prestigious fellowships in clinical research and databases at Duke University and Stanford University in the United States. A market-driven approach and commitment to innovation define leadership in advancing the field of clinical research.

Paulo Passarini
Chief Commercial Officer

With extensive experience in international regulatory affairs, holds a postgraduate degree in Hospital Engineering. Specializes in the implementation and maintenance of ISO 9001 and ISO 13485 quality systems, as well as RDCs and CRFs. Experienced in the certification and registration of medical and dental products in over 60 countries, including roles in executive leadership within the industry.

Lucas Rodrigues
Chief of Administrative Officer

A serial entrepreneur with over 15 years of experience in regulatory affairs for healthcare products, having founded companies that grew from zero to millions in revenue. Expertise includes registration, certification, project compliance, pharmacovigilance, and audits. Specialized in national and international standards, risk management, usability, and clinical validation. A BSI-certified Lead Auditor, dedicated to assisting companies in navigating the regulatory landscape.
